Another glorious (insert sarcasm) day in Vancouver. It is once again rainy and cloudy! Ugh – As I once heard from someone “Vancouver is the only place where gum boots are made fashionable”. All rain aside,I cannot imagine living anywhere else. It is one of those days where it’s a bit gloomy, but every once in awhile the sun makes a brief and beautiful appearance.
However it is days like today that reminds me of what it’s like when I find something awe-inspiring and simply beautiful. I came across Si Scott’s beautiful typography and illustrations. This artist based out of Manchester UK creates such extraordinary artwork it’s simply amazing! You can purchase prints and artwork at Cosh Gallery, Paper Scissors Stone or Soma Gallery. As quoted by Cosh Gallery (you can purchase prints from this gallery):
“He works by hand with pen and ink to create beautifully fluid images of animals and letter fonts. His inspiration for his work stems from his passion for words and song lyrics, always listening to music while he works.”
See his Behance for additional work. Check out his artwork below….drool.
