As a kid, I remember eating these delicious Asian fruit jelly cups. Miniture fruit bites like lychee, mango or strawberry suspended in a soft jelly. See here for an example of what I’m talking about (my favourite was the Lychee one, best when frozen). Pretty much a staple in any Asian kid’s treats to eat from Grandma.
Today I came across a gorgeous packaging design that reminded me of those fruit cups. Concept designed by Marcel Buerkle, a Senior Designer currently working in a through-the-line and specialist packaging design agency in Johannesburg, South Africa. I love the rich and colourful concept that invokes freshness yet convenient delivery of fruit:
