Just a pinch of salt
When I was younger – I generally avoided adding salt to anything. More so, because I wasn’t too keen on the taste.
As my tastes matured (or so I think!) I’ve come to understand that a delicate dash of high end salt (or kosher salt) is enough to enhance the flavour of many meals.
Check out this unique package design concept by Eduardo del Fraile a designer based out of Spain.
He developed Soso is a brand of high-quality salt. The salt itself is derived from a natural reserve in Santiago de la Ribera, Spain. The client wanted the packaing to stand out amongst other similar products. Eduardo envisioned the usage of the egg because “An egg is the perfect container, its own shell is the packaging.
Soso has different types of salt to cook with different flavours; the colour of each egg relates to its flavour. The project and the brand were named SOSO, which means “lacking salt or short of salt” in Spanish.
